Before Your crucifixion, O Lord, You took Your Disciples and led them up a high mountain, and You were transfigured before them. You illumined them with rays of Your power, demonstrating Your love for humanity as well as Your authority. You wished to show them the radiance of the Resurrection. Grant us to experience the Resurrection in peace, O God, since You are merciful and You love mankind.
